Vilnius economics UAB together with Sensmetry UAB, Rubedo sistemos UAB and Visionary Analytics UAB is implementing the project ‘5G vehicles and their Fleets Risk and Resource Optimization and Management System Development’ (5G -FARRO) funded by Lithuania’s Economic Recovery and Resilience Plan “New Generation Lithuania” (project code: 08-004-K-0040).
The project aims to develop a product, which is an integral part of a 5G transport system. Without this functionality, an efficient 5G transport system can neither be developed nor can it operate safely and reliably. The product is called 5G-FARRO which stands for 5G-enabled Fleet Availability, Risk and Resource Optimisation solution. 5G-FARRO is designed for the integrated risk management and automatic risk minimisation of 5G vehicles and vehicle fleets, including real-time automated control actions. It is also created for the continuous transport system optimisation in an integrated manner, improving both the engineering and the economic parts of the 5G transport system. The activities carried out during the project include the creation, testing, and development of digital technological solutions, the implementation of which requires a 5G connection. The developed 5G-FARRO product will be marketed as a one fully-integrated product.
The project implementation period: from 2023-07-10 to 2025-12-31.
The budget of the project is EUR 3,209,324.72, of which EUR 1,765,128.59 is funded by Lithuania’s Economic Recovery and Resilience Plan “New Generation Lithuania”.
